Souvlaki

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken, beef or lamb
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 4 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 Tbsp Greek Seasoning (Greek Freak)
  • 3-4 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

Cut up the protein into cubes to be put on skewers.

Combine the ingredients in a ziploc bag:
Olive Oil (2 Tbsp), White wine vinegar (1 Tbsp), Minced garlic cloves (4), Lemon juice (3-4 Tbsp), Salt (1/2 tsp) and Pepper (1/2 tsp)

Add your protein to the bag, shake well and refrigerate for 6 hours – 24 hours to marinade.

If using wooden skewers, make sure to soak for approx 30 minutes before cooking.

Place your protein on skewers and cook until done. I like to put onion pieces between each piece.
